Penguin smashing windows

Welcome to the Ormond Beach Linux User's Group

There are no meetings yet.

You can get started by downloading a Live CD image and burning it and booting your machine from it. This will give you a chance to see if all your hardware will work with Linux. It will also give you an opportunity to to test drive the software and see how you like it. This can all be done without installing anything. You can get it here.

Once you have decided to install Linux to your hard drive, you can set-up your machine to dual boot. I did this when I first started with Linux. It allows you to choose which OS to run when you start your machine. In a short time I ditched Windows altogether.
